Neil Millar, MSc
Managing Director
With over 20 years and 100 projects in seismic, drilling and management roles and a decade as Geophysical Operations Manager for Australia’s largest integrated energy company, Neil has a detailed understanding of the Australasian and international geophysical/geotechnical survey sector. He created Total Seismic in 2016 to provide dependable, high-quality geophysics and project delivery consulting services to all sectors. Neil grew up in Scotland, arrived in Australia in 1995 and lives on the Gold Coast, Australia with his wife and their two children. Neil has degrees from the University of Edinburgh, University of New South Wales, University of Aberdeen and Deakin University, including postgraduate degrees in Petroleum Geoscience and Business Administration.
David Dorling
Business Development Manager
David commenced his role with Total Seismic in 2018 and brings to the team over two decades of project management and business performance experience working for major petroleum operators and seismic contractor companies. He is an expert in Australian seismic project delivery, contract administration, management system development, regulatory compliance and business strategy. David grew up in Brisbane and currently resides with his wife and family in the Lockyer Valley, Australia.
Larissa Hansen, PhD
Chief Geoscientist
Larissa has degrees from the University of Queensland (BSc) and University of Aberdeen (PhD in Sedimentology) as well as extensive resource sector industry experience. Over 12 years, Larissa has provided expert multidisciplinary geology, geophysics and petrophysics work for several major companies on projects in Europe, Africa and across Australasia. Her extensive research experience is key to providing scientific and thorough analysis of regional and more localised geological data. She currently lives in Brisbane, Australia with her husband and two children.
Bruce Manieri
Operations Manager
Bruce has more than 45 years’ international experience in all facets of land geophysical data acquisition. He worked for a major seismic contractor for 20+ years and as a self-employed consultant managed land and transition zone seismic operations for major Operator companies in most environments in Australasia, Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Americas. Bruce is a certified surveyor with extensive geophysics and HSSE training during his career. Bruce grew up in Sydney and lives in Brisbane with his wife and family.
Szilard “Sid” Albert, MSc
Data Processing Geophysicist
Sid specialises in data processing geophysics and seismic data quality control and brings to the team extensive international experience, including over 16 years work in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Sid leads Total Seismic’s data processing division and is involved in many of our technology innovations. Sid has degrees from the University of Bucharest and Queensland University of Technology, including an MSc in Applied Geophysics. He lives in Brisbane, Australia with his wife and children.
